ETC is accredited as a certified Trade Test Centre with the NAMB (National Artisan Moderating Body) and QCTO (Quality Council for Trades and Occupation) in the trades listed below, thus offering the region quality and choice as well as boosting the skills development for the region.
This is a significant step towards closing the skills gap in the region and we are working with several stakeholders to achieve the goals of our skills development strategy.
The recognition as a Trade Test Centre is part of a broader strategy by the QCTO and the SETA to achieve the national skills development strategy targets to ensure sufficient skills for the construction sector, not only in the Eastern Cape but South Africa as a whole.

Occupational Certificate Bricklayer
Occupational Certificate Carpenter
Painter and Decorator
Occupational Certificate Plumber
Plasterer and Tiler
With this expansion of our facility, ETC is now more accessible for the prospective artisans in the Eastern Cape.
